Shea butter is extracted from the Shea Nut. The process produces a butter rich in vitamins A and E, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that penetrate deeply, leaving a smooth, satin finish that locks in moisture. This butter is great for both skin and hair and does not clog pores.

Common Uses: Shea Butter can be used on its own for both skin and hair; due to its great moisturizing and emollient properties, it is also a great addition to massage and body butter, lip balms, soaps and hair care products.

Storage & Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place in an airtight container away from direct sunlight and moisture.  This butter should last up to 12 months if stored properly.

This is a natural and unprocessed product handcrafted without sophisticated machinery; therefore, some impurities’ possible presence cannot be excluded.

Additional Information: Store in cool temperatures (below 25 °C). The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g. 36 °C) but will re-solidify upon cooling without affecting functionality.
